What can you tell us about yourself that our followers might not already know?
I'm very crafty & I used to make jewelry. I love designing something from scratch & I'm very involved with design packaging. I always have a vision of how I want certain products to look. I like to be different and not look like the rest, since I was younger I had a different style, my own.
How did you start in the industry?
I started in the industry 6 years ago when I hired a MUA for the first time for a family photo shoot. She was amazing and it sparked an interest immediately! I wanted to learn for myself the proper techniques to apply makeup but after taking a few makeup seminars I was hooked and I knew this was my niche! I saw incredible opportunities and the potential for growth not only as an individual but as a company as well.
Who and what inspires your style?
I consider myself an old soul. I love classical music. Frank Sinatra puts me in a great mood. I think my style is classy, elegant with a hint of sophistication. I enjoy classy styles like the iconic Chanel that takes you to a different era where elegance was a way of expression. I think women can be sexy without exposing too much. I hard to find that nowadays but I try to keep that in mind when styling myself.
What is the one Aniise product you can't live without?
I love the cleansing and hydrating mud mask, it leaves my skin so soft! I think Aniise has incredible skin care products that are beneficial to your skin improving your skin texture over time.
Any particular style or makeup tips you would like to share with our readers?
Makeup is a form of artistic expression, don’t be afraid to play with it & remember that no one is born with a set of skills. We develop these skills through dedication and practice. Make realistic goals that you know you can accomplish with hard work. If you want to master a winged eyeliner stick to your challenge by putting to practice every day until you've nailed it, then you can continue onto to your next challenge. Once you’ve mastered the winged liner everything else will be easy!
